SADDLE FIT GUIDE
Larry Coats has over 30 years of experience building saddles, but it’s his over 40 years experience in the saddle competing that gives him the ability to build a saddle that not only fits you, but more importantly, your horse. Saddle fit can drastically affect not only your performance as a competitor, but also your horse’s ability to do their job. An ill-fitting saddle can hinder movement, balance, and even cause soreness in both horse and rider.
We highly recommend trying different trees, seat sizes, and fender styles to find the perfect fit for your new saddle. Our unique standard tree design fits most horses perfectly, with no customization required. However, if you have a horse that may require a special tree size, please don’t hesitate to contact us before placing your order.
